An excellent fleet of 25 boats from five countries took part in the Soling German Championship on Lake Chiemsee this weekend.

Seven races were programmed for weekend. Karl HAIST/ Ewald KÖSTLER/ Peter JACOB - GER 308 finished in second place with sixteen points, only one point ahead of the Hungarian Westel team of Georg WOSSALA/ Leslie KOVACSI/ Peter NEMETH - HUN 77 who had 17 points.

Team Roman KOCH/ Maxl KOCH/ Christoph WOSSALA GER 300 the recent Italian Open Championship winners finished fifth overall with 28 points, just behind two points behind Holger WEICHERT/ Laurent SCHEEL/ Frank FELLER GER 49 (26pts).

Another German team (Thomas Maschkiwitz/ Christoph Saurbier/ Dr. Christian Oeler ) just kept the advantage over The Netherlands team of Johan Offermans /Hans Zijlstra/ Bas Dlisee - NED 25 and The Slovakian team of Peter Mosny/ Anton Szomolanyi/ Marek Jancovic sponsored by centrumservices.

Chiemsee Lake is lucky to observe such a Regatta, with 75 sailors sailing in close races in their attempts to take off Winkler's crown.
