After four races in the Championship, Norweigan Siren Sundby, currently ranked second in the ISAF World Sailing Rankings, has retaken the top spot, relegating previous leader Sarah BLANCK (AUS) into second.
Two more group races were sailed in the ladies championship and Sundby, scoring a second and first to add to her consistant third and first on day one, showed what a consistently strong sailor she is. Sari MULTALA, another strong contender for European and World Championship titles, and currently ranked number one, is still in the title run, lying in fourth place.
Many of the top ten in this championship of 120 boats will be in with a realistic chance of achieving at World Championship level, and with the Olympic Games not too far away, athletes are approaching their peak performance levels.
