Consequently today, the planned lay day, the women are racing, along with the Youths and Juniors. The men have had 5 races in total which was enough to divide them into Gold and Silver fleets, so they have the luxury not afforded to the Women, Youths and Juniors, of a rest day.

Today the wind has filled in to 8-10 knots and the Women, Youths and Juniors are out on the water racing. The forecast for tommorrow is for the local 'Mistral' wind to build from 15 to 30 through the day. The plan therefore is to get the Youths and Juniors out on the water early for a 9am start. Tommorrow will be the first day of racing for the Men in the Gold and Silver Fleets. The forecast is the 'Mistral' wind to continue for the rest of the week until the event concludes on Sunday
