With a mild breeze (the classic “embat” from Mallorca), A and B Groups finally got racing after two General Recalls

Under these conditions, the A Group was won by CAM -skippered by HM Prince Felipe-, followed by Castellón Costa Azahar and Bribón. Early in the race a 40 footer was leading, with Telefónica Movistar of Pedro Campos ahead.

In the B group, Luis Doreste in his Telepizza-Pepsi showed well on elapsed time but Rafael Díaz with Andalucía Solo Hay Una took victory on corrected time

In the second races of the day, the Race Committee reduced the course from 12 miles to 8. CAM won again with an advantage of more than three and a half minutes over Codorniu Hyunday, giving CAM the overall lead in the Regatta

Forum Filatélico with Luis Cobreros as sailing master, won the second B Group Race. Second was ADS GLEN, with another Italian boat, Modex, third.
