Participated in both dinghy (Hobie 16 and International 420) and keelboat sailing competitions in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan
Significant achievements include silver medalist in the All-Japan Hobie 16 Championships in 1985 and line honours on 'Magic Dragon' in the Hong Kong to Manila South China Sea Race in 1990
Continues to participate as a foredeck crew member in the Singapore Straits Regatta series
