Even if some clouds covered the Garda trentino, the wind did not miss the first day of the Yngling Revival and the Race Committee were able to complete the two races scheduled for the day.
At the end of day one, and two races, the Yngling Revival’s temporary rankings sees Matthias DAHLSTROM (SWE) in first place, followed by Sally BARKOW (USA) and Bostjan ANTONCIC (SLO).
The first race went to Sally BARKOW (USA) ahead of Anna BASALKINA (RUS) in second and Ekaterina SKOUDINA (RUS) in third. In race two the boys got a look in with Bostjan ANTONCIC (SLO) taking the bullet, Mattias DAHLSTROM (SWE) second and Andreas KNITTEL (AUT) in third.
This is an open Yngling event and there not eligible for ISAF grading but nonetheless is a usefull training regatta for the ISAF Grade 2 Expert Olympic Garda, Eurolymp which will take place on Garda Trentino from 8-14 May, organized by the Fraglia della Vela under the supervision of Andreas KNITTELL.
